Week 5

Work for Week Five

Think of an opening to a poem, story, play

which requires a description of a slug.  By
all means do some research
in the garden or online.

How do you use words to give  the pictorial
qualities of a slug, and at the same time
convey a sense of  the tactile

Or you could start something with with a
close description  of a fly, how it feels on the face
or arm,   how it moves, how it seems to have be ‘put together’ from a kit.

Either of these might be focused on as a way of  setting a scene
through a significant detail, or as a way of setting the atmosphere
