Journey in Time:  Me at the age of twelve

Write an imaginary diary about what you did ‘today’ when you were twelve.   You can make this completely imaginary or you can write about an actual day you had or might have had.   You need to think about the kind of language the twelve-year-old you would have used,  the things in the streets, on the radio/tv,  films,  music heard.  

Focus on some problem you are thinking about, or some decision you have to make.   Focus, also, on particular objects, sounds, textures.
